Here’s what costume designer Ashley Rebello has to say about Katrina Kaif’s bridal look in ‘Bharat’

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Bharat’ has lived up to the expectations of the audience and is breaking records. This good run at the box office is the result of the attention paid on every minute detail, from the plot to the set to even costumes. Talking of costumes, it was Salman Khan’s personal stylist Ashley Rebello, who designed Katrina Kaif’s beautiful white bridal gown for the Catholic wedding sequence in the movie.

The designer who has around 18 years of experience in designing Catholic wedding dresses, recently spilled some beans on his latest work that he crafted for this B-town beauty. He mentioned it wasn’t a piece of cake to select the right fabric, tones of white, the silhouette and flow, in order to do justice to the look and to Katrina’s unparalleled beauty. So, Ashley along with Alvira Khan sketched a number of designs and made several alterations, and then they were finally able to create a look for Katrina that mesmerised one and all. Even the side swept hair bun, was the designer’s idea to go, and all we can say is that ‘job well done’.

After ‘Bharat’ it is Rohit Shetty’s ‘Sooryavanshi’, with which Katrina Kaif will be hooking the audience. She will be sharing the screen space with Akshay Kumar in the same.
