Here's why Sanjay Leela Bhansali hugged Adhyayan Suman on the sets of Heera Mandi - Exclusive

One has rarely heard Sanjay Leela Bhansali praise any artistes on set. But the unexpected has happened on the sets of his new show Heera Mandi. Bhansali not only praised actor Adhyayan Suman but hugged him at least four times after the shot. There were about 200 odd junior artistes on set when Bhansali praised the young actor.

A source from the sets spoke to ETimes and said, "Adhyayan Suman, who plays a nawab in the show, had to perform a scene with Richa Chadha and right after the shot SLB went upto to him and said, 'Where you till now?' and gave him a tight hug. It happened a few times."

Adhyayan Suman has been in the industry for quite a while now. The source, an industry veteran added, "He hasn't really got the opportunity and I am sure this project will give him his due as an actor."

Shekhar Suman's son, Adhyayan recently won raves for his performance in Prakash Jha's Aashram Season 3 as well. The actor revealed in a recent interview with ETimes that his next film with Naseeruddin Shah will start shooting soon as well.
