High Court dismisses stay application against Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta's Vadh

Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta's intense drama titled Vadh, ran into some legal trouble as producer Dilip Dhanwani, of the film banner Mega Star, sought a stay on the movie's release claiming that the title 'Vadh' was registered with him. Producer Luv Ranjan though got some last minute relief from the Bombay High Court as the judiciary dismissed the application.


The film is slated to release today and the application in Court wanted the judiciary to stop the movie from releasing. But sources from the Court revealed that the magistrate hearing the matter dismissed the application starting that it was filed at the eleventh hour and too close to the release of the movie. If the applicant had conformed to fair practise and filed an application much before then the matter could have been considered.


The Court dismissed the interim application and this means Vadh can have an unrestricted nationwide release today.
