Before this, everyone knew Hina as a strong actress. She's been talking a lot about how important it is to spot breast cancer early and how women need to know their bodies. It's been rough for Hina, both in her feelings and body, since she found out. But Hina staying positive has really helped other women going through the same thing. Hina's really brave for speaking up about breast cancer, teaching people about it, and showing strength when things are hard. It shows how awesome she is at getting others motivated.

Sonali Bendre

Back in 2018, everyone was stunned when Sonali Bendre, who a lot of people called Sunshine Girl of Bollywood, said she had a serious kind of cancer that had spread. She got treatment at a hospital in NY, and she shared what she was going through – everything from starting chemo to when she shaved her head. She was really strong and open about it, which inspired tons of people to pay attention to their own health and get checked out early. Her story, along with the awesome help she got from her husband, son, and close friends, gave a lot of people hope.

Tahira Kashyap

In 2018, Tahira Kashyap was diagnosed with breast cancer after which she decided to document her experience including her mastectomy publicly. She shared an iconic photo of herself with a bald head on social media showcasing her strength and fighting against the stigma attached to a person with cancer. Through honesty on her social media platforms and her fears as to how to live with the diagnosis and heal and gain confidence in being herself following recovery, Tahira transformed her own personal experiences into writing and inspired women to accept their vulnerabilities and courage in tough situations.

Kirron Kher

In 2020, Kirron Kher was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, and her diagnosis shocked most of her fans who remember her to be lively, outgoing and full of energy. During her entire treatment, she was optimistic about her recovery and her husband, Anupam Kher, would frequently update their fanbase with positive news. Kirron Kher's experience emphasised the necessity of maintaining a strong emotional foundation and having a supportive family. Her positive attitude and fighting spirit have inspired a large number of individuals facing a similar type of disease.

Lisa Ray

In 2009, Lisa Ray was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, and during her fight against the disease, she exhibited tremendous grace, resilience and honesty. By the end of 2010, Lisa announced that she was in remission, which was a huge personal achievement.
