Getting a good release date is always an advantage for a film. The upcoming horror flick, '
Amavas
', featuring
Sachiin Joshi and
Nargis Fakhri in the lead, is now slated to release on February 8, making it the solo release for that week. Earlier the movie was slated to hit screens on January 11, but this new development has made the producers very happy. The film will now get a clear window and a week without having to compete with any other release.
The thrilling movie is said to have top class VFX and it was also shot at Castle Goring in Sussex, England, which is known to be a haunted place. Speaking about the film, Sachiin Joshi says, “We have made the film that we envisioned, but with so many releases one has to ensure that the film gets the correct showcasing and is able to reach out to a wide audience. We are happy that we’ve got a clear week.”
Directed by Bhushan Patel, who has made horror films like '
1920 Evil
', '
Alone
' and '
Ragini MMS 2
' in the past, this film also stars Vivan Bhathena, Navneet Kaur Dhillon, Mona Singh and Ali Asgar.
