Huma Qureshi in Nitesh Tiwari-Ashwini Iyer film to be directed by 'Chhichhore' and 'Dangal' writer - Exclusive!

Huma Qureshi is smiling from ear to ear. The young lady is on cloud nine. If all goes well, she is coming on board for a very important film in her career. The film in question will be directed by Nitesh Tiwari and Ashwini Iyer under their banner Earthsky Pictures.



ETimes also has it that the Huma-led film will be directed by Piyush Gupta. Piyush has written films for Nitesh- '

Chhichhore

' (produced by Sajid Nadiadwala), '

Dangal

' (produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, Siddharth Roy Kapur) and 'Bhootnath Returns' (produced by Renu Ravi Chopra and T-Series).



A source says, "It's a woman-centric film. Ashwini and Nitesh wanted Huma to play the protagonist. Both, husband and wife, have been very impressed by most of Huma's performances till date. Huma is probably yet to sign the film but the choice has been made. The modalities are fast being worked out."

The film goes on floors in April and will be shot largely in Pune.
