The actress who has a tight schedule, rues that she has still not been able to explore the city yet. "Some of my co-stars, when they share the pictures of the city on social media. I feel really bad about it. The only solace is that I have been able to relish some of the Banarasi delicacies like the kachoris, khoye ka samosa and some out of the world lassi with rabri. My wish list includes going to the ghat and watching the Ganga aarti and of course do some shopping as well," she says.
Seen in film 'Amras: The Sweet Taste of Friendship', Maanvi is playing a UPite in the film 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhan'. "Though it is an ensemble cast with Ayushmann as the protagonist, every character in the film has a space, including my character of Goggle Tripathi. Though there is no cliched accent to my character, which is usually associated with a UPite character, there are certain words like ‘hum kar diya’ which I picked up from a crew member who is from this region. Rest I am taking from a friend of mine who hails from Prayagraj. She talks like us while conversing with her friends but when she calls her parents, she uses words like ‘hum’ and ‘aap’ I told her that I am adapting my character on her."
