I connect with Randeep: Neetu Chandra

Neetu Chandra says films apart, a passion for sports and theatre is what cements the bond between her and Randeep Hooda
The industry corridors are abuzz with rumours linking Neetu Chandra and Randeep Hooda. The duo, which has acted together in Gary Grewal’s “Kusar Prasad Ka Bhoot”, is supposedly taking its relationship forward and has also done a meet-the-parents session.
Ask Neetu if this is part of the regular linkup stories that float around in the industry just before the release of a movie to publicize it and she says, “Randeep is a friend.I have acted in a movie with him and have another project with him in the pipeline. I connect with Randeep.”
Though Neetu is not saying that she intends to marry Randeep, she mentions how sports connects the two of them. “Both of us are sportsmen. That’s a big connect. Besides, both of us have a common theatre background.” So, what is this thing about she meeting Randeep’s family and accompanying them to watch a play? “Randeep and I are not filmi people.
When we are friends, it’s normal for us to get introduced to each other’s families.” So, has Randeep met her mother? “Yes, he has. In fact, when my father had expired in Mumbai, he was there at the puja too.” Meanwhile, Neetu is also planning to act in a Hindi movie that will be directed by her brother, Nitin. “It is a biopic and will be produced by a big banner. I intend to come down to Kolkata to shoot for the movie sometime in October/November.”
