The actor did not shy away from the reality of the process, revealing the intensity of the shoot and the physical toll it took on him. Varun replied, “Bahut prepare karna tha. I, in fact, injured my tailbone while shooting the Battle of Basantar. I shot for 40 days in Babina for that, with real soldiers. #VarunSays.” Another fan asked what made the script stand out for him.
