'I want to be popular like Yana'

Yugoslavian model Jelena Jakovljevic will swing to a song in Pritish Nandy Communications'' <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Popcorn Khao Mast Ho Jao</span>.<br /><br />Jelena, who''s based in Dubai, says she got the offer through a stylist during one of her castings for a modelling job.<br /><br />"I’ve modelled in cities like Milan, Cape Town, Munich, Chicago and Athens, but never worked in movies," says Jelena, who shot for the song early this month.<br /><br />Jelena says she''s heard of Yana Gupta."We are from the same region and I’m told she’s big here."<br /><br />As for comparisons, she says, "I''d like to follow in her footsteps, and maybe get as popular."<br /><br />Jelena says the language barrier wasn''t too much of a problem as everyone speaks English here.<br /><br />"Besides, models are known not to talk much!" she quips.</div> </div>
