As Farah Khan and Dilip gave a virtual tour of Amrita Arora and RJ Anmol’s house, one thing was clear that the couple had a soft spot for the colour pink. The tone was set right from the entrance, and a statement was made by the bold pink door.


Further, to complement the colour scheme, the walls were painted in neutral shades, while their sofa rocked a peachy hue. Adding to the aesthetics was a big Audrey Hepburn painting from Breakfast at Tiffany's and mirror-panelled walls.

Everything was simply at the right place in the right shade. However, if you ask about the most striking feature of the house, it has to be a ‘real MF Husain’ painting. According to Amrita, this iconic piece of art by Husain was inspired by her film ‘Vivah’.

Was Amrita Rao actually MF Husain's muse?

For those who don’t know, there were reports back in the day that MF Husain drew inspiration from actress Amrita Rao for creating a series of paintings, some of his masterpieces. Amrita Rao shared that the world renowned, gifted artist MF Husain invited her and her mother to Dubai to paint her live. However, there were apprehensions. He wondered if the 'real' Amrita was true to her on-screen persona in the film ‘Vivaah’.

In addition to the painting, Amrita also received the renowned painter’s signature paintbrush. No wonder her entire house seems like a perfect page from a Pinterest board.
