Salman Khan is now enjoying the great success of his latest movie, 'Tiger 3'. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, it is the third movie in the popular Tiger franchise and the fifth installment in the YRF Spy Universe. Apart from acting, the actor also earns money by investing his wealth in various businesses and real estate. He has invested in multiple business sectors, like production houses, owning a clothing line, investing in multiple startups, and more. Here, take a look at various sources of income of the actor.

​Salman Khan also earns from his profit-sharing deals. According to a TOI report, the actor commands a 60% to 70% profit share in each film. Many other Bollywood actors like Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan follow a similar fee approach. Khan has starred in the annual highest-grossing Hindi film of 10 individual years, the highest for any actor.

Salman Khan has produced and distributed many Hindi movies under his production banner such as 'Chillar Party', to commercially successful 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'. Founded in 2011, the production house has emerged as another significant source of income for the actor. Hindi version of the Kannada film 'Vikrant Rona' is distributed by Salman Khan Films. It starred Sudeepa, Nirup Bhandari, Neetha Ashok, and Jacqueline Fernandez. 'Chillar Party' went on to win 3 National Awards for Best Children's Film, Best Original Screenplay and Child Artist's Award.

In 2012, Salman Khan invested some amount in a travel company, Yatra.com. According to the Economic Times, the actor owns a 5% stake in the company. Reportedly, he has also invested in the short video platform Chingari, part of a $13 million investment round led by OnMobile Global Limited.

Salman Khan established Being Human Clothing in 2012 to support Being Human - The Salman Khan Foundation. It provides healthcare and education to underprivileged individuals. After entering the Indian Market, the clothing brand debuted in Europe and the Middle East. Currently, the brand has more than 90 stores across the country.

Apart from acting, Salman Khan is also known as one of the fittest actors in the industry. He transformed his passion for fitness into a business venture by launching his range of fitness equipment, Being Strong, in 2019. He also opened multiple gyms in major cities like Mumbai, Noida, Indore, Kolkata, and Bangalore, among others.

Salman Khan has made investments in real estate by purchasing multiple homes and spaces in Mumbai. According to Economic Times, he has leased out his four-floor property in Santacruz to a retail giant, LandCraft. Spreading over 25,000 square feet, the space was bought by the Bollywood actor in 2012 for Rs 120 crore. Previously, it was leased to Foodhall for a monthly rental of Rs 90 lakh.

Salman Khan has been associated with Bigg Boss since the 2010-11 season. Reportedly, he charged Rs 12 crore weekly for hosting the new and ongoing season. As per the report, the actor could easily pocket around Rs 200 crore by the end of Bigg Boss Season 17. Before this, he hosted a reality game show, '10 Ka Dum'.
