Is Fawad Khan in Nitin Kakkar's next?

It seems rumours travel faster than light in Bollywood. A case in point is Nitin Kakkar's next project which he is doing for Salman Khan's production. It is being rumoured that Fawad Khan has been signed for this project. Nitin was quoted as saying that they are still in the process of casting actors. "I don't know who is spreading such rumours about Fawad being signed for the project. As soon as someone is signed, we will announce. We should stay away from such speculative exercise,' says Nitin.

Talking about the recent controversy surround Fawad Khan and other Pakistani actors, Nitin says that an artist doesn't belong to any

religion

or country. The director also feels that the reluctance to engage in meaningful debate in a democracy like ours can often be counter-productive. 'The high-decibel rhetoric can only shrink the cultural space which artists irrespective of their countries occupy,' adds the director.
