Is Parineeti dating director Maneesh?

There have been stray rumours linking Parineeti Chopra and director Maneesh Sharma of 'Band Baaja Baraat '(BBB) fame. In the past, the spitfire actress has denied of any special friendship brewing between Maneesh and her. However, the rumours refuse to die down.
Our source tells us that Parineeti and Maneesh are reportedly very close, so much so that during the making of their latest film together, the director and the actress are seen spending more time with each other.In fact, Pari is not even spending so much time with the male lead, Sushant Singh Rajput. One also hears that it has been quietly conveyed to Sushant to keep a safe distance from his leading lady.
Parineeti, who handled the marketing of BBB, interacted closely with Maneesh and it was he who recommended her name to Habib Faisal for Ishaqzaade. Maneesh is also said to have paid extra attention to his protege during the making of her debut film Ladies vs Ricky Bahl. At that point, the lead pair of the film — Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh — felt slightly marginalised.
