Earlier, Priya shared a glimpse of the 'Vedaa' reunion on Instagram. One photo showed her and John with director Nikkhil and other crew members, while another captured the couple smiling happily. They posed at the event, with John in a black shirt and jeans, and Priya looking radiant in a white top and skirt. She captioned it, "Good people vibes."

'Vedaa', directed by Nikkhil Advani, was released in theaters on August 15, 2024, coinciding with India's Independence Day. The film features Tamannaah Bhatia, Sharvari Wagh, and Abhishek Banerjee in key roles. It explores themes of caste-based violence and honor killings, focusing on the struggle of a young Dalit woman named Vedaa, played by Sharvari Wagh. John Abraham portrays Major Abhimanyu Kanwar, a boxing coach who mentors her in her fight against societal evils.
