'Miracle In Cell No 7' directed by Hwan-kyung Lee is a film about a mentally challenged man wrongfully imprisoned for murder. He becomes friends with criminals in jail who smuggle his daughter into the jail to meet him. The film was based on a real incident that happened in 1973. The story deals with a man who is tortured to confess to the rape and murder of a 9-year-old girl.

Incidentally, an unofficial remake of the film has already been made in Kannada titled

'Pushpaka Vimana'

in 2017. Actors Ramesh Aravind and Rachita Ram played the lead roles in this Kannada drama. It had received generally favourable reviews from the audience and critics.

Meanwhile, Khetani will begin the shooting of the last schedule of 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', which features Kartik Aaryan, Tabu and Kiara Advani, by the end of July in Mumbai.
