Kajol says Salman Khan's star power is unmatched; calls Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan ‘extremely professional’
Kajol recently opened up about her experiences working with Bollywood’s biggest superstars—Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and Salman Khan. In a candid conversation, the actress reflected on the professionalism of Shah Rukh and Aamir, while also spotlighting Salman’s larger-than-life stardom, offering a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse into her dynamic with the three Khans.
In an interview with Galatta India, Kajol praised Shah Rukh and Aamir for their strong work ethic and professionalism, noting how committed and disciplined they are on set. At the same time, she acknowledged Salman Khan's unparalleled mass appeal, pointing out that his consistent popularity and box office pull remain unmatched, regardless of a film’s performance.
When told that Akshay Kumar has equaled Salman with 18 films crossing the rs 100 crore mark, Kajol acknowledged the achievement but noted that when it comes to sheer star power, Salman remains in a league of his own—something even Akshay would likely agree with.
Salman and Kajol have shared the screen in several popular films over the years, including Karan Arjun, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya. Among these, their on-screen chemistry in Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya was particularly well-received, leaving a lasting impression on audiences.
The actress is gearing up for her next release, Maa, a mythological horror film directed by Vishal Furia. The film also stars Ronit Roy, Indraneil Sengupta, and Kherin Sharma, and is produced by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande. Maa is set to hit theatres on 27 June.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan was last seen in Sikandar and will next appear in an action-packed film alongside Sanjay Dutt. He also has Kick 2, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, in the pipeline.
