Hey Ram (2000)

In Hey Ram, Kamal Haasan explored communal violence and guilt through a deeply layered character arc. He not only played the lead but also wrote and directed this powerful story set around India’s Partition. The film showed how hatred can distort even the gentlest mind. His sensitivity in portraying an ordinary man’s descent into darkness earned global praise and cemented his place as one of Indian cinema’s bravest storytellers.

Michael Madana Kama Rajan (1990)

Kamal Haasan’s comic genius shines brighter than ever in this hilarious multi role classic. Playing four distinct brothers, he gave each one unique quirks, accents and personalities that fans still quote with joy. His timing and physical comedy turned scenes into unforgettable laughter riots. Often compared to The Godfather, Nayakan is still celebrated as one of the greatest Indian films ever made, with Kamal at his absolute best.
