Kangana Ranaut lauds Himachal women, says they are equally or better looking than her, Yami Gautam, Preity Zinta

Kangana Ranaut is known to call a spade-a-spade and has always displayed women empowerment in many ways. The actress who is gearing up for the release of her movie 'Emergency' next month has proved it yet again as she shared a fan made picture of actresses who have come from Himachal and are so good looking. This collage included Kangana along with Preity Zinta, Yami Gautam and Pratibha Ranta of 'Laapataa Ladies' fame.


She shared this collage and wrote, "#peopleofhimachal When I go to Himachal and see our women equally or better looking than us work tirelessly in the fields no insta no reels raising cattle and making the ends meet. I feel they can definitely do with some hype. #himachaligenes #himachaliwomen."

Kangana has always been quite proud of her Himachal roots. Earlier when Yami Gautam got married, the actress had appreciated her for her simplicity and called her the most stunning bride.

On work front, Kangana's film 'Emergency' which was supposed to release in September 2024, kept getting delayed due to issues with the censor board certificate. The board then finally gave a UA certificate to the movie after suggesting 13 cuts. The film is based on the 1970 emergency and Kangana plays the role of Indira Gandhi.

Sharing the new release date of the movie, she had written, "17th January 2025 – The epic saga of the nation’s most powerful woman and the moment that altered India’s destiny. #Emergency – Unveils Only in cinemas on 17.01.2025"
