The Indian Railways has always been a favourite with Bollywood folks when it comes to promoting movies. From Shah Rukh Khan to Akshay Kumar, many B-Town stars have taken the rail route to woo their fans. And, the latest in the list is
Kangana Ranaut. The actress, who is promoting her upcoming film Panga, gave a taste of her reel character to the junta, on Monday afternoon.
In the Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari directorial, Kangana plays a
kabaddi player, who is also a booking clerk, working with the railways.
Imitating her character, the actress visited Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) yesterday, and turned ticket vendor for the passengers. The actress pulled off a desi, underdressed look in a simple, white floral salwar kameez.
The railway staff and the passengers were surprised to see Kangana at the ticket counter. She took tips from the staff on how to punch tickets. The actress waved at the fans and even posed for the shutterbugs showing off the she tickets punched. The actress also posed in the backdrop of the CSMT, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
