Tejas, a 2023 Hindi-language action thriller directed by Sarvesh Mewara, features Kangana in the lead role, with Anshul Chauhan and Varun Mitra in supporting roles.
Unfortunately, the film received mostly negative reviews from critics and quickly turned into one of Hindi cinema's major box-office disappointments within its first two days of release. The situation was so severe that many theatrical screenings were canceled on its opening day.
She is unfazed by the setback and is already gearing up for her next big project down south. The new film, titled Bhairavi, is set to commence production next year and is anticipated to be a substantial venture with a budget ranging from Rs 80-100 crore.
Despite Tejas facing challenges at the box office, Kangana is focused on her future projects. The insider reveals that Bhairavi, a revenge story, centers around the protagonist discovering the truth about her mother's murder by her foster father. Although no studio is currently attached to the project, the south industry seems eager to support Kangana.
