Karan Johar reveals deleted scene of Riddhima’s apology to Shalini Passi in Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives

A standout moment from Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives occurred when Riddhima Kapoor accidentally spilled wine on Shalini Passi during dinner. The other Mumbai wives were taken aback that Riddhima didn't acknowledge the incident or apologize to Shalini afterward.

Karan Johar, who produces Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives, hosted a virtual chat with all seven participants on Saturday evening. He shared that Riddhima Kapoor did apologize to Shalini Passi for spilling wine on her in Mauritius. However, that scene was removed from the show because it was shot at night and had visibility issues. In the original scene, Riddhima apologized, and Shalini accepted it.

During the virtual chat, Shalini Passi mentioned that she hasn't fully moved on from the wine spill incident. Although she still meets Riddhima Kapoor socially, she needs time to come to terms with it. Shalini stated, “The apology came on day 2 or day 3. I'm okay, I actually don't care. Ya, it's all in the past and I don't want to see the re-runs. I know what happened. I know how I was made to feel.”

“Honestly, they didn't want to pull me up for anything. I'm a matured human being. I don't pull them up for their behaviour. To say, ‘I’m concerned, we're concerned,'” Shalini said.

When asked if she got close to the Mumbai wives, Shalini Passi said she didn't try to make friends since the Mumbai and Delhi wives were competing against each other. She also felt slighted by her own team members. However, Bhavana Pandey mentioned that Shalini connected well with the Mumbai wives at Manish Malhotra's recent Diwali bash.

The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives has aired three seasons on Netflix India. The show features recurring participants Neelam, Bhavana, Maheep Kapoor, and Seema Sajdeh. This season introduced new entrants Shalini, Riddhima, and Kalyani Chawla, who represented Delhi, while the original cast represented Mumbai.
