Shah Rukh Khan. He is now heading to Jaisalmer to begin shooting the Indian adaptation of the American series 'The Traitors' for a leading digital platform.
A source revealed to Pinkvilla that Karan leaves today and will begin his journey of hosting 'Traitors' from tomorrow with a bunch of contestants. It’s an exciting format and all the creators feel that there’s no one better than Karan Johar to host. He further said that Karan will be in Jaisalmer for 2 weeks for 'Traitors'.
The show format involves confining 10 contestants at a single location for two weeks. After scouting various locations across the country, the team has chosen Jaisalmer as the setting. The source added that the contestants will have to perform several tasks to remain in the game, but the competition will have a lot of twists and turns to keep the spark intact.
There are speculations that Karan Kundra, Sundhanshu Pandey, Raj Kundra, Anshula Kapoor, and
Jasmin Bhasin may be part of the show, but official confirmation is still pending. Traitors is the Hindi adaptation of the American reality show The Traitors, featuring contestants in a game akin to the party game Mafia.
On the work front, Karan Johar is currently focused on the release of 'Devara' and 'Jigra'. He will soon turn his attention to 'Dhadak 2' and an untitled film with Akshay Kumar. Additionally, Johar is developing a script for his own directorial venture, which is expected to be an action film featuring a young star.
