Kareena Kapoor Khan praises Ektaa Kapoor's support in producing 'The Buckingham Murders'

Kareena Kapoor Khan is making her debut as a producer with the thriller 'The Buckingham Murders' which sees her take on the role of a detective in the film, co-produced by Ektaa Kapoor.

The actress shared that 'The Buckingham Murders' is deeply special to her and her team. In a statement to NDTV, she emphasised that the film’s language is secondary to its content and the passion behind it. She expressed gratitude to Ektaa for her unwavering support and belief in the project, affirming that their collaboration has always been successful. Kareena is confident that this venture will be equally outstanding.

The actress, opened up about how acting has always been her lifelong passion and despite her new role as a producer, she is committed to continuing her acting career forever.

'The Buckingham Murders', directed by Hansal Mehta, features Kareena as a detective investigating a 10-year-old's murder in Buckinghamshire. Backed by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa Kapoor, the film is penned by Aseem Arrora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker. It hits cinemas on September 13, 2024.
