The actress said that in some way it was path breaking even then. They wanted to have something slightly more edgy and different. And people know there was no makeup actually on her face. There were just designs on her eye and not a drop of makeup.

In the 2001 film 'Asoka', Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shah Rukh Khan played significant roles, with the actor's distinctive makeup and attire reminiscent of the golden era. Recently, this makeup style has garnered renewed attention on social media.
