Kareena, in an earlier chat with her sister-in-law Soha Ali Khan's podcast, revealed that she and Saif Ali Khan has different parenting styles. She said, "Both Saif and me are very different because obviously he has been a father before. He is a lot more experienced. Mine is a first-time journey that I am experiencing each day. But still I think it's different for him also. Because the children are very young. I think he is an amazing father to all his four children. He is extremely brave, loving, caring, always there." Kareena said that she tend to be an overprotective or a helicopter mom.

Reports from May 3, 2024 had hinted that she would play a pivotal role as the lead character’s sister which is a crucial part of the narrative. However, later reports suggest that Kareena has amicably opted out due to her tight work schedule. Despite attempts to settle conflicting dates, the timeline could not be aligned.
