Karisma Kapoor along with kids Samaira, Kiaan goes to Delhi for Sunjay Kapur's second prayer meet

Karisma Kapoor's ex-husband Sunjay Kapur passed away on June 12, in UK. He was playing polo and reportedly he swallowed a bee which led to an heart attack. His funeral took place in Delhi on June 19. There was a delay in his funeral due to certain legal formalities as he had citizenship of UK. Karisma travelled to Delhi along with kids Samaira and Kiaan for the funeral. Later, a prayer meet took place which also saw her in attendance. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan were also seen with them. Meanwhile on Tuesday afternoon, Karisma was again spotted at Kalina airport with her children.

As per the video, shared by Viral Bhayani, the actress was spotted heading to Delhi to attend Sunjay's second prayer meet. She was spotted with daughter Samaira.


Karisma and Sunjay tied the knot in 2003. Their divorced was finalised in 2016. The couple had gotten into a legal battle for the custody of their children Samaira and Kiaan. The court ruled in the favour of Karisma while Sunjay was given the visitation rights. Sunjay then got married to Priya Sachdev and in 2023, he had droped pictures from Samaira's birthday celebrations also featuring Karisma. Thus, one saw Karisma along with Priya and Sunjay which said that they were on cordial terms with each other then.

During Sunjay's prayer meet, one saw Priya and Karisma together. Priya was accompanied by her son Azarias and daughter Safira.A poignant video from the prayer meet showed the two women setting aside personal history to honour the man they both shared chapters of life with. Their shared moment struck an emotional chord online, garnering admiration for the grace and mutual respect displayed.
