Karisma Kapoor bumps into her ‘all time fav’ Madhuri Dixit, fans call it ‘‘Dil To Pagal Hai 2’

Only a few days ago Karisma Kapoor had revealed that she had initially rejected the 1997 hit ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’ as didn't want to compete with Madhuri Dixit in dance. However, she later changed her mind and starred alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Madhuri and we all know the rest is history. Karisma had won many hearts with her flawless portrayal of Nisha in the Bollywood classic.
On Sunday, the actress had a happy reunion with Madhuri Dixit whom she happily calls her ‘all-time favourite’.Karisma took to her Instagram handle to share a candid picture from a studio wherein we can see the actress posing with Madhuri and they instantly won fans’ hearts with their enchanting smile. She captioned the post, “Look who I bumped into at the studio my all time fav MDji 💕💕💕💕 #memoriesandmagic”

While appearing at a talk show Karisma had recently said that ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’ came to her after every single heroine refused the film and Karisma, too, wasn’t convinced initially as it was a dance film and competition dance with Madhuri Dixit. However, later her mother Babita Kapoor encouraged her to accept the role.
Incidentally, during an interacting session with fans on social media, Madhuri had once said that ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’ is her best film with Shah Rukh Khan.

‘Dil To Pagal Hai’ still remains one of the best hits from the 90s. It’s the story of Rahul (Shah Rukh), Pooja (Madhuri) and Nisha (Karisma). Rahul couldn’t understand his childhood friend Nisha's feelings for him and is attracted to Pooja, who joins their dance troupe after Nisha gets injured. Soon it becomes a love triangle. Akshay Kumar had a cameo in the film.
Meanwhile, on the work front, while Madhuri was recently seen in the web series 'The Fame Game' Karisma made her OTT debut in 2020 with 'Mentalhood'.
