Karisma Kapoor and her estranged husband

. We reported earlier today that the couple made final bid for amicable separation and made a last ditch attempt to settle their matrimonial dispute amicably. However, the latest update on the controversial legal battle is that the couple has now finally come to a
mutual agreement
on
modalities for separation
before the
Supreme Court.
Karisma assures the Supreme Court to withdraw domestic violence case lodged against husband and mother-in-law within two weeks. Their children will be with Karisma, and Sunjay would get visitation right, modalities of which are being finalised.
Karisma Kapoor, husband make final bid for amicable separation The two tried to work out for a few years after the Delhi high court advised them to explore the possibility of a settlement. Karisma moved out of Sunjay's house in 2010 and permanently shifted to Mumbai.
The couple had filed a mutual consent divorce petition in the family court in Mumbai in 2014 but they disagreed on some issues before final hearing in the case. In the meanwhile, Sunjay approached the SC, seeking transfer of the divorce petition from Mumbai to Delhi because the businessman was allegedly threatened by underworld don Ravi Pujari against entering the city.
