Kushi Kapoor studied acting at New York Film Academy
Before entering films, Khushi studied acting at the New York Film Academy. Her father, Boney Kapoor, recently revealed that he did not have to pay for her education there. She earned a 100% scholarship based on her audition tape.Scholarship was offered purely on audition tape
When asked about the scholarship, Boney Kapoor explained, “You send your audition to decide whether you can be admitted or not, and she was offered a scholarship.”Khushi Kapoor on dealing with criticism
Khushi’s performances in ‘Nadaaniyan’ and ‘Loveyapa’ faced some online trolling. Responding to this earlier, she had told Bombay Times, “You can tell when you, read something or you speak to someone what they mean by what they say. I think it's important to take constructive criticism. And if something's not really helping you, I don't think there's any point listening to it.”Khushi Kapoor’s love for acting
Talking about her passion for acting, Khushi said, “The love (for acting) has always been there from the beginning as I've grown up around movie sets. The comfort definitely grows and you become surer of the choices you're making. I feel I have more of a voice now because I've done three films. I can express my ideas and thoughts a bit more. Whereas I think initially when I had just started, I would just kind of be quiet and listen. So now I feel like it’s a more collaborative process when I work with people because I feel like I can express my thoughts.”Khushi Kapoor on the work front
Following her debut, Khushi has worked in ‘Loveyapa’ with Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan and in ‘Nadaaniyan’ alongside Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan.end of article
