With it, the makers promised that the audience will get a "new Shah Rukh Khan experience." The clip showcased the superstar rocking silver hair and in a massy mafia avatar. The superstar dropped the teaser post on his social media accounts and added a caption that read, "Sau deshon mein badnaam, Duniya ne diya sirf ek hi naam—#KING #KingTitleReveal. It’s Showtime! In Cinemas 2026." The teaser drop left the SRKians amazed. They couldn't stop themselves from expressing their feelings about the clip and SKR's new avatar.


A fan posted, "This is the best birthday return gift you could have ever given us, I love how you never fail to surprise us each and every time. This is next-level mass, SHAH RUKH KHAN IN AND AS KING."

Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film will mark Suhana Khan's debut on the big screen. It also features Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Saurabh Shukla, Jaideep Ahlwat, Abhay Verma, Raghav Juyal, and more.

The film is currently in production. The film will arrive in theaters next year. The makers have not announced the exact release date as of now.
