KK passes away: 'He was the nicest human being,' says Dia Mirza

One such song that any '80s and '90s person will connect with is 'Sach Keh Raha Hai' from the evergreen romantic film 'Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein'. The film starring R Madhavan and Dia Mirza literally cast a magical spell with its unique and soothing music.

Speaking to ETimes, Dia Mirza said, "I am deeply distressed by the news of KK’s demise. He sang the iconic song 'Sach Keh Raha Hai' from 'RHTDM' amongst his incredible body of work. I was fortunate enough to interact with him over the years. He was the nicest human being. The love and goodness that his songs resonate with are all his heart."

Dia Mirza and R Madhavan's chemistry was very much applauded by the audience and the film did extremely well at the box office. Known for its romantic tracks, the film stands favourite amongst the youngsters even today.

KK had performed at a concert in Kolkata before he collapsed in a hotel room where he was stationed. He was immediately rushed to a hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
