Konkona Sen Sharma and Amol Parashar make first public appearance at Gram Chikitsalay screening amid dating rumours

For a while now, speculation about Konkona Sen Sharma's relationship with actor Amol Parashar has been doing the rounds. While the duo had stayed mum on the subject, they now seem ready to let their actions do the talking, as they made their first official appearance together.

The couple was spotted at the special screening of Amol Parashar’s latest web series, Gram Chikitsalay, held at Excel Entertainment’s office in Khar. While the evening was meant to spotlight Amol’s work, all eyes were on his joint arrival with Konkona.

Konkona looked effortlessly stylish in a sleek grey pantsuit, exuding boss energy. She paired the outfit with statement diamond earrings and an Apple Watch with grey straps, keeping the glam minimal with her hair styled in soft curls. Amol, meanwhile, looked dapper in a blue-striped suit. In a video shared from the venue, Konkona can be seen posing for the paparazzi before breaking into a wide smile as Amol joins her. The two later posed together, making it clear that something special was being made official.

Amol had earlier hinted at a 'pure' relationship he prefers to keep private

Interestingly, Amol had hinted at being in a committed relationship during an earlier interview with The Times of India, though he didn’t take any names. “Nothing is stopping me. I have found no good reason to put it out there,” he said, adding that real relationships have a certain “sanctity” and feel more “pure” when kept private.




He also spoke about how some in the industry use relationships as PR tools, but that wasn’t something he subscribed to. “Yaha nahi bhi hote relationships toh chala dete hai… PRs have suggested this to me before, ki kuch chala dete hai,” he shared. “But I want people to talk about my work. If I want to express something, I’ll do it through my craft.”



While he didn’t confirm Konkona’s name, Amol did add that there was nothing secretive about their bond. “We are not hiding from people. We go to parties, and people know. But to put something out in the media hasn’t felt necessary. It’s not like we need it.”
