Kriti Sanon who made her Bollywood debut with the actioner ‘Heropanti’, recently revealed that she and her young sister Nupur Sanon were treated differently after her Bollywood debut success.
Talking to News 18, Kriti Sanon opened up about certain relatives treating her and her younger sister Nupur after the success of her Bollywood debut ‘Heropanti’. Explaining her frustration, the ‘Do Patti’ actress said that even though the industry pitting the sisters against one another has not affected their bond, the difference in their relatives’ behavior towards them irked her.
Kriti explained that when she started in the film industry, Nupur was very young and wasn’t in Mumbai. “That’s when I saw certain relatives treating us differently and that angered me,” said Kriti Sanon.
Kriti Sanon further said that when she and her sister visit their relative's places, both are treated differently. Even she found a difference in the way their relatives would wish on their birthdays. “They would wish me and Nupur differently on our birthdays. That’s something I found immature, “ explained Kriti Sanon.
Kriti Sanon added that Nupur is emotionally very strong despite being her younger sister and she handles any situation effectively. She said, “Even if something hurts or bothers her, she never lets it come to her face.”
Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon is making her debut as a producer for the upcoming thriller film ‘Do Patti’. Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, Kriti Sanon plays a double role in the movie which will start streaming on OTT from October 25 onwards. The movie also features Kajol, Shaheer Sheikh, Tanvi Azmi, Vivek Mushran, and Prachee Shah Paandya in pivotal roles.
