Krystle D’Souza clarifies speculation about starring in ‘Dhurandhar 2’ after popularity of ‘Shararat’ amid no official confirmation yet

During her Galatta Media interview, D'Souza replied about the sequel through her use of light-hearted humor. “Well, well… I mean, not a bad idea. Batate hai, batate hai. Jaldi (We'll tell you, we'll tell you)," she said, suggesting news could come soon. She made a joke, which fans immediately started sharing with each other. She continued, "Spy ka kaam hota hai cheezein chhupake rakhna (A spy's job is to keep things hidden)."




The video clip quickly made its way to all social media sites. The audience watched her Shararat performance multiple times while they discussed various possible explanations. D’Souza has made no formal announcement.

In a separate interaction with IANS, D’Souza addressed the rumors again, this time with a calmer tone. “She declared that everything which should exist will eventually become reality. She also praised Tamannaah Bhatia and dismissed any comparison. “I didn’t know any of this, but she’s great, she’s pretty, and she’s really good at what she does. More power to her,” D’Souza said. She explained that people need to be ready at the correct moment to find their chances. “What is written in someone’s destiny, they get.”

'Dhurandhar' is directed by Aditya Dhar. The two-part spy action story is set in the underworld of Karachi’s Lyari area. Ranveer Singh leads the cast, alongside Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun. The first film omitted Middle Eastern distribution yet it achieved commercial success throughout India and Europe and North America. 'Dhurandhar Part 2' is slated for release on Eid 2026.
