Influencer turned actress, Kusha Kapila announced her divorce from husband Zorawar Ahluwalia last year. The statement shared by her read, "Zorawar and I have mutually decided to part ways. This hasn't been an easy decision by any means but we know it's the right one at this point in our lives. The love and life we have shared together continue to mean everything to us, but sadly, what we seek currently for ourselves doesn't align. We gave it our all, until we couldn't anymore."

The statement further added how how they will continue to cherish the bond which they shared for over ten years and will co-parent their pet Maya. Now in a recent podcast, 'Moment Of Silence', Kusha revealed that they were forced to announce their divorce soon. "We had to give that news out because a news publication gave us a deadline that 'We are giving you two days to either confirm it or deny it, and on the third day, we are going to carry the story'. So it was important for the news to come out from us," said Kusha.

The added that despite their efforts to keep things private, the separation news was leaked when someone spotted them at the court. Hence, the news publication asked them to either accept, deny or they would put out the story. Earlier, in an interview, Kusha had said that she wanted people to know about the divorce through them and not via anyone else. She also acknowledged that the news publication was just doing its job.

On work front, Kusha was seen in 'Thank You For Coming' and a show called 'Life Hill Gayi'.
