‘Laalo’ director Ankit Sakhiya meets Karan Johar after film’s historic success, calls it a special moment

The debut director of the film Ankit Sakhiya is enjoying all the success and amidst that, he recently met Karan Johar in Mumbai, following the film’s massive success. The meeting quickly became a proud milestone for Ankit.After meeting the filmmaker, Ankit expressed his gratitude through a social media post. He gets trapped inside a farmhouse and is forced to face his darkest memories. As fear closes in, he begins experiencing powerful visions of Lord Krishna. These divine moments don’t just comfort him. They push him to confront his past demons, understand his pain, and finally heal.Laalo-Krishna Sada Sahaayate features Reeva Rachh, Shruhad Goswami, and Karan Joshi in key roles. The film is presented by Manifest Films and backed by Ajay Padariya and Jay Vyas. Released in October 2025, it made headlines by becoming the first Gujarati film to cross Rs 100 crore at the box office.
