After battling with
Pneumonia for almost a month, legendary singer
Lata Mangeshkar was discharged from the hospital on Sunday.
Soon, social media was flooded with messages for Didi and she even thanked them for their wishes and love through her account. She tweeted, "For the past 28 days, I was at
Breach Candy hospital
. I was diagnosed with pneumonia. The doctors preferred that I extend my stay in the hospital and go home when completely healthy. "Today, I am back home with the blessings of Mai and Baba I have my deepest gratitude to all my well-wishers all over. Your prayers and good wishes have worked and I humbly bow down to each one of you."
Now, an Instagram fan page of the singer has shared the pictures of her recovery where we can see he nurses of the hospital posing with Didi as she got discharged from the hospital.

For the unversed, she was rushed to the Breach Candy Hospital on November 11 after she complained of difficulty in breathing.
The iconic singer celebrated her 90th birthday on September 28 this year.
She has been honoured with India's highest civilian honour
Bharat Ratna
in 2001. Along with that, Didi has recorded songs in over 36 Indian languages.
Born on September 28, 1929, she has also been honoured with
Dadasaheb Phalke Award
and France's highest civilian award, Officer of the Legion of Honour, besides numerous national and international awards.
