Today, Supreme Court gave green-signal to a CBI probe in late actor Sushant Singh Rajput mysterious demise. The apex court ruled that FIR filed in Bihar was lawful and state govt is competent to request CBI probe. The Mumbai police have now been asked to hand over all evidence collected to the investigating agency. Fans, the family of SSR along with several Bollywood celebs took to social media to hail the SC's verdict. The court also ensured that there was no confusion about CBI being sole authority in the probe and that no other state police could interfere with it.

Talking to a news portal about the same, Samuel Haokip reportedly said that Sushant had moved in with the actor’s team to the Pali Hill flat and that all the discussions to salvage Sushant’s damaged reputation were together in the team. He added that the team was also discussing the legal recourse after the allegations came out. According to him, Sanjana had left for the United States and did not pick up the phone when they contacted her the first day. He also added that had the actress responded to the allegations sooner than she did, the damage would have been less.

According to Mumbai Mirror, a team of five doctors had signed on Sushant’s post-mortem examination report and now their names as well as phone numbers, with a copy of the autopsy report were shared online a few days back. From abusive phone calls to online trolling and demanding that the doctors' licences be cancelled to stating that they should be booked for murder – the doctors have been facing a lot of harassment.
