Local barber comes to Arjan's rescue

Instead of a stylist, actor Arjan Bajwa gets his hair cut at a local barber's salon in Bijnor during the shoot of 'Lanka'.
We all know the lengths an actor can go to, to get the perfect look for his role. So no wonder then, when Director Maqbool Khan of the forthcoming film, "Lanka", wanted his leading man Arjan Bajwa's look perfected to the tee, he hired the services of a local barber instead of a high profile stylist that stars are used to.The cast of the film was shooting in Bijnor when the director went to the local barber and let him snip a few inches off his hair before Arjan got his mane chopped.
"I wanted the perfect look for his character, and when we were starting shooting, I still wanted a little change in Arjan's hairstyle. So I looked for a local barber and tired him out. I must admit, he was very good. So, I convinced Arjan to go for it too," says the director.
Meanwhile, the actor too is quite happy with his new look. "It's true that my look in the film is not styled by some renowned hair stylist as happens in most of the films. I was scared and of course very reluctant of getting my hair cut at some local salon. But trust me, this is one of my best hair cuts and the experience was amazing. If it wasn't for the film, I would have never done something like this," says Arjan.
