‘Love, Sitara’: When and where to watch Sobhita Dhulipala's romantic drama

Sobhita Dhulipala starrer ‘Love, Sitara’ is gearing up for release. The trailer of the film was launched a few days ago, and Sobhita has now confirmed the release date. Directed by Vandana Kataria, ‘Love, Sitara’ is scheduled for a direct-to-digital release. The film will be arriving on ZEE5 on September 27.

On Wednesday, September 18, Sobhita Dhulipala dropped a special poster titled ‘Meet the many shades of Sitara’ and confirmed the release date. “Love, Sitara on 27th September.”

Directed by Vandana Kataria, ‘Love, Sitara’ follows the life of Tara, a young interior designer, who decides to work on her relationship with her boyfriend. As the couple travels to Tara's hometown to spend time with her family, their own demons are revealed. Starring Sobhita Dhulipala, the film also has actors Sonali Kulkarni, B Jayashree, Virginia Rodrigues, Sanjay Bhutiani, Tamara D’Souza, and Rijul Ray in crucial roles.

While launching the trailer earlier, Sobhita Dhulipala spoke about how they have made the film despite many challenges. In a note shared on Instagram, she wrote, “Presenting this sweet and humble family-drama we shot in Kerala, while navigating some very unique challenges during the Covid lockdowns. Sitara to me is a heady mix of strong and sensitive. A successful career girlie who finds the courage to question and shatter her own patterns and conditioning. The dignity and rawness of the women that are at the centre of this story is staggering.
