Madhu Chopra reveals Hrithik Roshan and Rakesh Roshan helped to take Priyanka Chopra's father to Boston for cancer treatment: 'They helped us, put in a word'
Priyanka Chopra’s father, Dr Ashok Chopra left this world in 2013 after his struggle with cancer. In a recent revelation Priyanka’s mother Dr Madhu Chopra shared how actor Hrithik Roshan and his father filmmaker Rakesh Roshan helped them to take Ashok to Boston for further treatment.
In a conversation with the YouTube channel Something Bigger Show, Madhu called the moment her husband got diagnosed with cancer the “most vulnerable moment” of her life. When she shared about the condition and further with her brother who was in America he told her to bring him to Boston if there is a minimum percentage chance of recovery. But getting him on a plane was really tough due to the airlines never wanting to take a serious patient even after Madhu and family gave disclaimers.
Priyanka was shooting for ‘Krrish’ with Hrihik and his after Rakesh during this time. They offered help after knowing about the issue. “she shared her worries with them. He asked her ‘why are you crying?’ and then both father and son made that possible for the airlines to take us. They helped us, put in a word, they knew people,” she shared.
Madhu further shared about Ashok's reluctance to open up about his illness to others. He insisted on keeping it private, not wanting anyone, including family, to know. This made Madhu feel distanced and unsure of how to support him. She struggled with balancing emotions, unsure whether to confront him, show empathy, or feel anger, as she watched him internalize his anxiety and worries. It was a difficult and confusing time for her. Ashok Chopra breathed his last in 2013 after battling cancer for over eight years.

Rahul, your question shows a serious lack of basic empathy and of course associated hard-heartedness! Life is precarious....one never know what await us. So, grow up and attempt to be more humane.Read allPost comment
