Mahima Chaudhry's daughter Ariana Mukerhjee and nephew Ryan win hearts by touching Raj Babbar's feet at Umrao Jaan screening
Bollywood’s beloved actress Mahima Chaudhry made a graceful appearance at the re-release screening of veteran actress Rekha’s Umrao Jaan in the city. Directed by Muzaffar Ali, the movie is all set to have a re-release today (June 27). Mahima’s daughter Ariana Mukerhjee touching Raj Babbar’s feet to show respect is now stealing the spotlight on social media.

Mahima arrived at the screening with her daughter Ariana. The star kid looked like a princess in a pastel blue outfit paired with high heels. Aryana garnered attention when she respectfully touched veteran actor Raj Babbar’s feet. Her mother Mahima was also seen having a great moment with Raj by touching his feet and exchanging regards with his family. Mahima's nephew Ryan was also seen touching Raj's feet after them.

Social media users were quick to appreciate Ariana’s gesture. Many credited Mahima for instilling such grounded principles in her daughter. One user commented, “It’s rare to see such sanskaar in today’s generation,” while others compared her with BLACKPINK’s Lisa and pop sensation Selena Gomez due to her unique hairdo.
Ariana’s father, architect Bobby Mukherjee, was also spotted in the video.
Ariana recently made headlines as she appeared for the screening of Mahima’s recent movie Nadaaniyaan. Her public appearance grabbed eyeballs then as well. Speculation is now brewing among fans about whether Aryana might step into the film industry.
Ariana is the daughter of Mahima and her ex-husband, Bobby Mukherjee. The two got married in 2006 but divorced in 2013.
