Mamta Kulkarni opens up about her old semi-nude photoshoot for a magazine: 'I was shown a picture of Demi Moore...'

Mamta Kulkarni has been in the news lately as the actress was named and then removed from the post of Mahamandleshwar of Kinnar Akhada at Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj. The actress recently opened up about her old semi-nude photoshoot for a magazine in interview with Rajat Sharma's Aap Ki Adalat. She also spoke about how she does not intend to come back into movies.When asked about her semi-nude photo for the cover of Stardust magazine, Mamta explained that she was in the ninth standard at the time and was shown a picture of Demi Moore, which she didn’t consider obscene. She also mentioned previously stating that she was a virgin, as she had no knowledge of sex or nudity at that time. Kulkarni added that she hasn't watched any pornography in the past 23 years.When asked about dancing to bold lyrics in films, Mamta Kulkarni explained that, like Madhuri Dixit, dancers don't pay attention to the lyrics or lines. Their primary focus is on performing the dance steps.Mamta Kulkarni confirmed that she has no plans to return to films, describing herself as a full-time sanyasin. She compared her transformation to milk turning into ghee, which can't return to its original form. Despite fans requesting her return, Kulkarni firmly stated that she has decided not to re-enter the film industry.
