'Manmarziyaan', the film which stars

Vicky Kaushal in lead roles was off to a good start at the ticket windows, with the film earning an estimated Rs 3.25 crore on its opening day, states a report on BoxofficeIndia.com.
The film that sees Abhishek Bachchan's return to the big screen, is a new-age love story that centres around a girl, Rumi (Taapsee Pannu) who is madly in love with Vicky (Vicky Kaushal). However, their love story is shortlived when their parents walk in on them. Rumi offers Vicky her hand in marriage, but as he refuses, she eventually opts for an arranged marriage.
Apart from its gripping trailer and stellar cast, the film also boasts of soulful music that has struck a chord with the audience. The film is sharing the box office business with other Bollywood films like 'Stree' and 'Love Sonia', apart from the Hollywood horror flick 'The Nun'.
