Several actors came out in open against Alok Nath's unruly behaviour after writer and producer Vinta Nanda came out in open accusing him of sexual misconduct.
Taking to socials Vinta had revealed about the trauma that she had to face 20 years back due to Nath and even praised former beauty queen Tanushree Dutta for taking a stand and coming out in open against veteran actor Nana Patekar.

Even actresses Sandhya Mridul, Deepika Amin and Renuka Shahane joined the movement by revealing Alok Nath's sexual predator side.

Amidst all these #MeToo revelations, now Alok Nath has filed a defamation case against Vinta Nanda, who had accused him of rape. Earlier Nath’s lawyer, Ashok Saraogi had said that the charges levelled against Nath are completely false and they would take appropriate action very soon.
Meanwhile, as the #MeToo movement is gaining momentum popular names from Bollywood like Sajid Khan, Kailash Kher, Anu Malik, Vikas Bahl, Luv Ranjan and Subhash Ghai have been accused of harassment.
