Mission Impossible: Tom Cruise's action reminds fans of SRK-Salman's ‘Pathaan' train scene

Tom Cruise starrer ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One’ has hit the screens today and it has opened to positive reviews. However, a few viewers have pointed out similarities between this action entertainer and Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster hit ‘Pathaan’.
Tom and Hayley Atwell running on a moving train in the climax action sequence, reminded fans of Salman Khan’s cameo alongside Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Pathaan’.Salman-SRK’s reunion had caused havoc and sent fans into a tizzy. Beyond the train sequence reference, the treatment, action and cinematography is quite different in both the movies.
Directed by Christopher McQuarrie and featuring a star cast Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames and Pom Klementieff.
After ‘Pathaan’, SRK-Salman’s reunion will be celebrated in ‘Tiger 3’, which also features Katrina Kaif. This Maneesh Sharma directorial is scheduled to hit the screens on November 10, 2023. Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan will also reunite for a full fledged action drama which is titled ‘Tiger versus Pathaan’. This expensive drama is said to be made on an estimated budget of Rs 300 crore. ‘Tiger versus Pathaan’ is scheduled for release in 2025.
