Patralekha was born as Anwita Paul in Shillong, Meghalaya, into a Bengali Kayastha family. Her grandmother, a poet, gave her the name “Patralekha,” which she later adopted as her professional identity.

Her father, Ajit Paul, was a Chartered Accountant, and her mother, Papri Paul, is a homemaker. Despite her current luxurious lifestyle, Patralekha’s upbringing was grounded and middle-class in Shillong, along with her siblings Parnalekha and Agnish.
Wealth Shared with Rajkummar Rao
Patralekha shares significant wealth with husband Rajkummar Rao. The couple owns a ₹44 crore sea-facing triplex apartment in Juhu (previously owned by Janhvi Kapoor) and have launched KAMPA Films, their own production house. Their lifestyle includes luxury cars and high-end bikes, largely from Rajkummar’s collection.
