Monali Thakur addresses health rumors; Says, 'I was not hospitalized'

Singer Monali Thakur recently addressed health-related rumors claiming she was hospitalised after experiencing severe breathing difficulties during a live performance at the Dinhata Festival. She clarified that these reports are false, stating she was unwell due to a viral infection but not dealing with any breathing issues. Monali assured fans she is recovering and back in Mumbai for treatment.

Taking to Instagram, the singer clarified, “Dear media and everyone concerned for my health, I hope you’re doing well. I’m writing this to request that no unverified news about my health be shared. I truly appreciate all the love and concern, but I want to make it clear that I am not dealing with any breathing issues and I was not admitted to any hospital. That’s false information".

“I was feeling unwell recently due to not getting enough time to recover from a viral infection/flu, which caused it to relapse and led to slightly severe sinus and migraine discomfort, especially during flights. That’s all there is to it. I’m now back in Mumbai, getting treatment, resting, and recovering. I’ll be absolutely fine in no time!", she further added.

Monali recently made news after abruptly ending her concert in Varanasi due to mismanagement, including an unsafe stage setup. Expressing her disappointment, she criticized the organizers for their negligence, highlighting the risks posed to her and her team. In a viral video, Monali addressed the audience, saying she was disheartened as her team had been excited to perform but faced numerous issues due to poor infrastructure. She mentioned repeatedly warning about potential injuries and called out the organizers for being irresponsible and unethical. Despite the situation, Monali apologized to her fans for canceling the show, promising to return with a better event in the future.
