Mouni Roy-Suraj Nambiar wedding: Did the bride take cues from Deepika Padukone's bridal look?
Mouni Roy tied the knot with Suraj Nambiar as per Bengali and Malayali traditions in Goa. For the Bengali wedding, the actress wore a red lehenga featuring intricate gold detailing. But what caught everyone's attention is her veil.
The actress finished the look with stunning makeup and gold jewellery. Speaking about her veil, beautiful Sanksrit words were written on it. Just like Deepika Padukone and Patralekaa, the actress got words in Sanskrit embroidered to her veil's borders that read, "Aayushmati Bhava", which means being blessed.
Check out her pictures here:
The groom wore a crisp beige sherwani along with a matching stole. Several photos and videos have been doing the rounds on the internet, wherein we can see the couple performing wedding rituals in Bengali style.
Recently, Mouni took to Instagram handle and penned a heartfelt post for her husband. "I found him at last... Hand in hand, blessed by family and friends, We're married! Need your love and blessing. Love, Suraj andMouni," she wrote.
Suraj also shared the same pictures on his handle and wrote, ''27.01.2022 - Married my best friend and the love of my life. Feel like the luckiest man alive.''
Several stars including Mandira Bedi, Aashka Goradia, Arjun Bijlani, Omkar Kapoor, Aamna Sharif among others attended Mouni and Suraj's wedding.
